This guide will walk you through how to activate the integrated Privacy Policy, access both policies within the Privacy Widget, add your own custom policies, and provide direct links to these policies on your website.


1. Activating the Integrated Privacy Policy#

Before your website visitors can access the auto-generated Privacy Policy, you need to activate it in the TRUENDO Console.

Steps:

  1. Log in to TRUENDO using your credentials.
  2. Select the Website:

    • At the top of the TRUENDO main window, click on the dropdown menu and select the website for which you wish to activate the Privacy Policy.
  3. Navigate to Banner Settings:

    • In the left-hand panel, click on Banner.
  4. Activate the Built-in Privacy Policy:

    • Scroll to the Built-in Privacy Policy section.
    • Toggle the switch to activate the integrated Privacy Policy.
  5. Save Changes:

    • Click on the Save button to apply the changes.
